These web pages describe traditional, individual CITES services.
Going forward, Unified Communications at Illinois provides faculty, staff, and graduate students with an integrated system that offers phone, instant messaging, web/
teleconferencing services and other features.

Telecommunications installations and repairs are handled by CITES Cabling Installation and Maintenance Services (CIMS). CITES supports the voice and data services for the campus media distribution system (both copper and fiber optics).

Installations
Installation work is initiated through your CITES Unit Coordinator, who submits CITES Service Requests.
Repairs
Repairs should be reported by CITES Unit Coordinators, as well. If you are unable to reach the coordinator, please report problems to Service Request Management at 333-1161.
