Spring 2012 No Change Period

For IT Professionals:
CITES observes a no change period at the end of the semester, to prevent network and service changes from impacting students during finals. If you have pending network or service changes, please schedule them before May 3 or after May 14.

IT Professionals,

As sping classes come to an end please be advised that the CITES "No Change" period will begin at 12:01 a.m. Thursday, May 3, 2012 and ends at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, May 14, 2012.

CITES observes the no change period to minimize the risk of service interruptions during the critical period leading up to and during final exams. During this window even minor disruptions to the network and other services can have a significant impact on students' preparation for and completion of final exams.

During the No Change period, CITES will not implement any change that may affect, directly or indirectly, any production service, function, or activity. Emergency maintenance and patches may still be applied during the no-change period if they are necessary to maintain the stability or security of a network, service, function, or activity.

If you have any questions, please contact the CITES Help Desk, 217-244-7000,
