Introduction
This page provides information about UIUCnet network access by the type of facility and by the network access types in each building.
If you've got a break between classes and want to access the network at a nearby location, you can use the maps of campus buildings to find network access in your vicinity, or you can use the alphabetical building lists to see whether a particular building offers what you need.

The network access maps provide information about the types of network access in campus buildings, including:
Computer labs
Many campus buildings also offer computer labs, including:

Access for campus guests and visitors
Guests and visitors can access the campus network in several ways. Options include:
- Short-term guest accounts
(providing weekend guests and conference members with network access from hundreds of locations around campus) - Long-term guest accounts
(providing additional services for guests staying for a longer period of time) - UI Public Wireless
(Web, email, and AIM access for visitors who are at Willard Airport or in one of a few selected campus locations)
