Introducing Illinois Compass 2g

The second generation of Illinois Compass made its debut on the Illinois campus in November 2011.

The first generation of Illinois Compass was retired on December 31, 2012. After this date, instructors will still have access to the system through December 2014 to retrieve old content and copy it to new Compass 2g spaces but not use the service to teach.

Announcing the development of the Illinois Compass 2g Advisory Group.

Service Pack 8 was released on Illinois campus in mid August, 2012. Read more about the new features and functionality available with the latest service pack upgrade. The Service Pack 11 upgrade is currently scheduled for Summer 2013.

We have expanded your choices when requesting an Illinois Compass 2g space. In addition to Registrar-affiliated spaces, you can now request Development, Training, Non-Registrar-affiliated, Collaboration and Research spaces providing new ways to use Illinois Compass 2g.
