CITES Express Email Web Interface: How to Sort Messages

This page contains information about how to sort messages in the CITES Express Email web interface.

This web page is part of an online tutorial series about the CITES Express Email web interface and explains how to sort email messages.

When you are looking at the contents of a folder, you will see the column headings of From, Subject, Date, and Size. To alphabetically sort the emails from A to Z by the name of who sent them or by their subject, click on the From or Subject heading. If you click again, they will reverse their order so that they are arranged from Z to A. Similarly, if you click on Date, emails will be sorted in the order they were received. If you click on Size, they will be sorted smallest to largest. If you click on the envelope icon, they will be sorted based on whether the messages have been opened or not.

For instance, if you click on Date, the messages in this list will sort in ascending or descending order of delivery.

The carat mark by the Date (^) heading indicates whether it the messages are in order of most recent date or latest date. In this example, messages are ordered by the latest date appearing first in the list.
