Getting Started: Self-Paced Online

Illinois Compass Grade Book

Time: 1 - 1.5 hours

This workshop covers the in-depth features and functions of the Illinois Compass Grade Book. This online course is self-paced.

By the completion of this workshop, you will be able to:

• Compare grade book views
• Create a simple grade book
• Enter and edit grade book data
• Create various types of columns
• Set display options for columns
• Edit column settings
• Use simple formulas
• Import and export grades using a spreadsheet

You can register by sending an email to: edtech@illinois.edu. In your email, please provide the name of this Illinois Compass online course, your name, NetID and email address. You will automatically be enrolled in the course for one month and will receive a confirmation email from CITES EdTech with details on how to access the course.
