Illini Hall room 23 is CITES Educational Technologies' new training and course development lab. Illini Hall is equipped to allow CITES EdTech staff to deliver software training and professional development activities to faculty and staff. It is also designed to enable EdTech staff to collaborate and consult with faculty/staff to successfully integrate technology into their teaching practices.

There are two workstations (a Windows workstation and a MacOS computer) designed for accessibility. The desks of the workstations are height-adjustable to accommodate wheel-chairs and the monitors are wide screen 25-inch displays to assist visually impaired people.
