Beginning of Semester Activities
It is imperative that you request your Illinois Compass course site(s) as early as possible to ensure that it is built well ahead of the first day of classes, and to allow time to create and upload your instructional content before the semester begins. Placing a request is as easy as going to the Course Request Page and completing and submitting the form with your course information.
We encourage you to read our ‘Checklist for Dusting Off Your Illinois Compass Course Site’ showcase article that contains a complete checklist on how to get your course ready for the new semester. This article offers good advice to help you prepare your course for the new semester, including how to change the due dates for your quizzes and assignments.
