By default, all new Illinois Compass courses (courses that have not been migrated from a previous semester) will have all of the course tools available for your use. lf you do not want certain tools to be used in the course, you can remove them from the course menu. Any content in those tools will be saved and will become available if you choose to add the tools to your course.
If your course has been migrated from a previous semester and you have disabled certain course tools, you will need to add those tools to your course in order to use them.
Select the Build tab and under Designer Tools select Manage Course.
Select the Tools button.
Select the check boxes for the course tools you want to add. Unselect the check boxes for the course tools you want to remove. Click Save.
