Thanks to the impact computer technologies have had on the way we store and disseminate information, intellectual property (IP) law has had to (and continues to) undergo steady revision in the courts. Because IP law is still being worked out with respect to computer technologies and the Internet, instructors who want to use those technologies would do well to educate themselves so that they can make good choices about how they use and share information with students and colleagues.
