Travelers: Temporarily Switching
to a Non-Quarantining Policy
This page describes a scenario in which you may want to change your CITES Spam Control settings before you go on vacation.
You are going on vacation for several weeks. You know your Quarantine deletes messages older than 10 days. You want to make sure no legitimate email is caught and deleted because you didn't have an opportunity to check your daily digests.
Solution:
Choose the Tag and Deliver or the No Quarantine policy.
If you won't be checking your quarantine for more than 10 days, it's a good idea to play it safe and switch to another policy just in case a legitimate email happens to get marked as spam. Both the Tag and Deliver and No Quarantine policies operate without using a quarantine. The difference between the two is that Tag and Deliver will deliver all email to your mailbox. The No Quarantine will delete Certain Spam (score of 80 or more).
You can switch back to your original policy when you return from vacation.
